Buescher True Tone Gold Plated Curved Soprano

Here we have an original condition Buescher True Tone curved soprano in gold plate. There were two gold plated offerings from Buescher. This one, which has the blend of satin and bright finishes, and the completely burnished (shiny) finish. For a few more dollars, you could order these with extra engraving, too.

As you can see in the gallery photos, this saxophone still had the original white, hand-sewn pads, and it had all of the gold-plated snap resonators. With a few palm key pads replaced, it actually played well enough to discover the character of the instrument. It was decided to install stainless music wire springs and chocolate Roo pads, plus our Buescher intonation package to include octave vent modification, tone hole crescents, and the C-bar.

The result is a truly stunning example of Buescher physical and tonal beauty.
