Robert Haley
Robert Haley is the owner of Classic Winds Music and is also a founder of the Metro Saxophone Symposium. Mr. Haley holds the Bachelor's of Music Education and Master's of Woodwind Performance degrees from the University of Georgia. Early saxophone studies from elementary through high school were with Bob Cowles, and he has been a frequent attendee at many week-long workshops of the legendary saxophonist Sigurd Rascher. Solo and chamber music performances have taken him all over the country. As a founding member of the Atlanta Saxophone Quartet , he and the quartet were invited by his mentor, Sigurd Rascher, to perform as featured guest artists at Yale University, as part of the Mr. Rascher's final North American saxophone workshop.
Mr. Haley's students are routinely selected for positions in district Honor Bands, Georgia All-State bands, the Georgia Governor's Honors Program, and university bands in schools/departments of music across the country. Bob and his wife Regina reside in Acworth, Georgia. They have two saxophone-playing daughters!
